On this page, you learn how to add products and categories to your store so that you can start selling. Let’s jump in!

Adding Categories

Before adding any items to your store, you’ll need to create categories for these items. These categories represent the types of items you are selling and include things like grocery, alcohol, electronics, or furniture. To add categories:

  • Log in to your Lowkel account.
  • From the top Nav-bar, select ‘Inventory.’
  • On the inventory management screen, quick the large plus button in the bottom right corner.
  • Select a new category.
  • Add the name of your category and an image (optional) to represent the category. 
  • Press Create Category. That’s it! You’re ready to go.

Adding Products

Once you have created categories, you can add items to those categories. To add items

  • Log in to your Lowkel account.
  • Navigate your mouse to the top right corner and click the name of your store.
  • From the drop-down menu, select Manage Inventory.
  • On the inventory management screen, quick the large plus button in the bottom right corner.
  • Select new item
  • Add your images and all of the necessary product information. Make sure to double-check what you’ve entered because this is what customers will see when they visit your store.
