At Lowkel, ease-of-use is extremely important to us. That’s why we’ve made it so simple to set up payments for your orders. After you have signed up on Lowkel and your store is approved, you need to set up payments. On this page, you will learn to add payments on the Lowkel Merchant Portal.

Note: The account must be activated by an executive or someone who has significant control and can provide details.

  1. After you login to your store on Lowkel, the following screen appears:

2. Click Confirm & Continue. You are prompted for setting up payment for your store.

3. Click Setup payments. The following screen appears:


4. Provide the following bank details where you want to receive your payments:

  • Account Holder’s Name
  • Routing Number
  • Account Number
  • Account Type: Individual or Company 
    • Select Individual if you want to use your personal bank account for your business transactions. 
    • Select Company if you want to use your company’s bank account for your business transactions.
  • Select the I accept terms and conditions check box.
  • Click Submit Details


Note: The screens that follow vary based on the account type (Individual or Company) you selected in the previous step.

The processes are slightly different depending on your bank account type. Please choose one below:

Individual Account

The following screen appears if you select the Account Type as Individual.

  1. Provide the following details of the individual who is on the governing board, owns 25% or more of the company, or otherwise has significant management control of the company:
  • Legal name of the person
  • Email address

Click Add. The following screen appears:

  1. Provide the following details for the business representative:
  • Date of birth
  • Home address
    • Address line 1
    • Address line 2
    • City
    • State
    • Zip
  • Social Security number
  1. Click Continue. The following screen appears, where you can review and update business details and management and ownership details if you wish to do so: 
  1. Under Business Details, click . The following screen appears:
  1. Select your industry type from the Industry drop-down list.
  2. Enter your website in the Business website field.
  3. Click Save.
  1. In Management and Ownership, click to make changes to the owner’s details.
  2. Click Done. The following screen appears that confirms successful business onboarding.

Company Account

The following screen appears if you select the Account Type as Company.

  1. Provide the following details:
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN). Optionally, you can enter your social security number
  • Registered Business Address
    • Address line 1
    • Address line 2
    • City
    • State
    • Zip
  • Business Phone Number
  • Industry (Select Business Category)
  • Business Website

Note: Stripe may ask for some additional business details as well like Business Tax ID, other identity documentation, etc. depending upon your business niche.

  1. Click Save. The following screen appears:
  1. Provide the following details for the business representative:
  • Legal name of person
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Date of birth
  • Home address
    • Address line 1
    • Address line 2
    • City
    • State
    • Zip
  • US phone number
  • Social Security number
  • Select the I own 25% or more of the company check box if this represents your share in the company.
  • Select Yes or No if you are the only person who owns this business. If you select No, on the next screen you are prompted to add another individual who owns 25% or more of your store. Click Add another owner to do so. 
  1. Click Continue. The following screen appears, where you can review and update details if you wish to do so:
  1. Under Business Details, click to edit your industry and business website. 
    • In Management and Ownership, click to make changes to owner’s details.
    • Click Save.
  2. Click Done and the following screen will appear
